Nilesh Ricci Parmar and Dave Heels from Bass Slammers bring us this mix from the Hard2Beat stage at USC!  Here's what Nilesh had to say about the festival:

I arrived at USC in the rain and couldn’t shake the feeling that this show was not going to be busy, but by the afternoon everything had perked up as people came in their 10s and 100’s to see the supersonic jet cars and races against the fastest car to the baddest car.  Then in early evening, the eagerly-anticipated Mr and Miss USC competition sorted the men from the boys, and the ladies from the girls!  It all got a bit naughty to be honest, but Becky, the Miss USC winner, sure knew how to work the crowd!

At 8pm the Hard2Beat crew took to the Fuel stage to set up for the nights activities, watched by an eager crowd keen to get the party started. Basshunter arrived shortly after I’d kicked off the music, followed by the C4 Transmission film crew documenting all the mischief he gets up to on tour.  Whilst this was happening the flame-out contest took place, now it would be far too easy to make a pun about it being a hotly-contested!  But you’ll have to allow me the indulgence – many thanks to Fuel for the prize of a top-quality subwoofer.

By 8.30pm on the Fuel stage I was in my element playing everything from drum and bass to dance to house music.  The crowd was getting bigger between 10 and 11pm, so i thought let’s get it tough and ready for Platnum and Basshunter.  Platnum had shot the video for their new single ‘Loveshy’ on the Friday and re-sung the track live for the crowd as well as the infamous ‘What’s It Gonna Be’. The crowd were well and truly buzzing by the time Basshunter took to the stage performing first ‘Now You’re Gone’ followed by his latest hit ‘All I Ever Wanted’ surrounded by the sexy Hard2Beat dancers.  Then it was all up to me and MC Charlie to keep the momentum going, but we rose to the challenge and took the night in to a frenzy until 1am Sunday morning.
